Song of Solomon is probably the most unique book in the Bible. While full of symbolism, this book takes us into the very heart of God, revealing the depth of emotion that He has for weak, struggling, broken, and immature people. Because of the nature of the message this book contains, there are some things that I have found that help prepare us for the awesome journey that we will take. Song of Solomon definitely is not a book to be taken in through the brain, it is a heart book. Therefore, one of the things that will help prepare our hearts is a time of tenderizing. Each week we will spend a little time soaking and allowing the Beloved to tenderize and prepare our hearts.
